KUALA LUMPUR: Up to 425,251 students nationwide will sit for the Form Three Assessment (PT3) written examination today.

The Education Ministry said 394,458 candidates are from national secondary schools, while 10,949 candidates are from private schools registered with the Ministry.

The PT3, regarded as an all-rounded examination which assesses various aspects of a student’s abilities, was introduced in 2014 as a replacement for the Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR).
